You can find a huge amount of information, such as the schedule and the list of 32 editors, agents, and art directors, plus twenty-seven published authors doing workshops and critiques.

We are known for our friendly conference where you have many opportunities to meet and talk with the faculty during the weekend. Attendees can sign up for more than one, one-on-one critique, attend 8 workshops or First Page Sessions, have lunches with the editors and agents, can attend a Mix and Mingle with all the faculty.

DAN YACCARINO will kick off our conference and KATE DiCAMILLO will send us off with an inspirational talk. We will hear what is happening in the industry straight from Steve Meltzer, Associate Publisher/ Executive Managing Editor at Dial Books for Young Readers and Dutton Children's Books on Sunday.

Friday afternoon members can sign up for additional four hour Intensives Workshops to develop their craft. Saturday night attendees who want to combine fun and craft can sign up to participate in the free group critique sessions.

Published authors can sign and sell their books, during our Bookfair on Saturday afternoon. We have a number of agent pitch sessions you can sign up to do.

We even have a juried Illustrator Showcase, plus a art portfolio display. This is something all the attendees love and there are winners and prizes, too. Everyone can design the conference to fit their needs, down to the smallest detail, so it pays to sign up early to secure the spots you want.
